The European Transport Research Review continues to achieve strong recognition within the research community, with its latest metrics highlighting the journal’s growing reach, quality and influence.
ETRR is now ranked in the top quartile (Q1) in both Transportation Science & Technology (18th out of 80 journals) and Transportation (13th out of 66 journals) categories, reflecting its strong position among leading journals in the field.
The journal has also reached an all-time high Impact Factor of 5.8, increasing from 4.2 in 2024.

In 2025, the European Transport Research Review published 65 articles, reaching now over 1M downloads, demonstrating the journal’s growing visibility and reach.
