Recognising the scientific excellence of NEARCTIS Network of Excellence in the domain of traffic modelling and control and the importance of continuing to consolidate the European knowledge in this area in the future, and considering the synergies between the goals pushed forward by both, the affiliation of NEARCTIS NoE to ECTRI association in the form of a new ECTRI Thematic Group on “Traffic Management” has been agreed. It is effective since January 1, 2015.
