The focus is on the governmental systems and practices for transport research in these three countries, providing an overview of the inertia as well as the accelerants for relevant policies with respect to promoting technological change and international cooperation in the transportation research sector. ECTRI/TRB Action Plan Review Subcommittee, A0010(4)

The ECTRI-TRB MoU aims to support further exchanges between ECTRI Members and the US research community in view to foster progress in transport research activities. An Action Plan which implements this MoU has been developed jointly by ECTRI and TRB management. The first part of the meeting will focus on reviewing 2017 Action Plan activities and planned actions for 2018 (A. Aparicio, C. Alméras) e.g. Joint sponsored event (e.g. ITF Research Day), Opportunities for twinning, Promote each other events (e.g. YRS2019), Webinars. The second part will be dedicated to sharing knowledge on automated driving’ capabilities in EU and US. ECTRI Members and US colleagues are invited to attend and contribute to the discussion.
