On March 4, 25 transport research experts from academia, industry, operator and decision-maker met in Brussels to assess and select the Young, Senior and Honorary TRA VISIONS Awards winners.
This shortlisting workshop held at the European Commission DG RTD premises was organised by ECTRI together with University College Dublin in support to TRA organizer.
Three young researchers and one senior researcher were selected per category (Road, Rail, Waterborne, Airborne, Cross-modal Passenger transport, Cross-modal Logistics, and for the Honorary Award) in recognition for their distinguished contribution to advancing innovative transport research in the EU.
Winners will be announced at the prestigious stage of the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, taking place in Budapest, Hungary, on May 18-21, 2026.
