Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) is transforming the way we travel and operate mobility systems. To succeed, the transition must prioritise workers, not only technologies.
The WeTransform Project, led by ECTRI Member Politecnico di Torino, has developed a co-created, action-oriented policy agenda involving 900+ stakeholders across Europe and beyond.
The WeTransform agenda aims to minimise the social impacts of digitalisation and automation on the transport workforce.
It delivers 11 urgent policy recommendations, focusing on:
- Public governance & regulation
- Industrial governance
- Training & reskilling
- Minimising labour exclusion
Cristina Pronello, WE-TRANSFORM coordinator and Advisory Board member of the ReSKILLING Project , has recently authored a web article illustrating the policy agenda in details.
The ReSKILLING Project carries on the legacy of the concluded WeTransform Project, to support transport workforce adaptation in the context of an emerging CCAM technology.
