Integrating Sustainable Mobility and Logistics with Citizen-Centric Intelligent Solutions for Safe, Smart, Green, Resilient, and Inclusive Cities

BIO-INTEL-MOB envisions a climate-neutral, data-driven, and citizen-centric transformation of peri-urban mobility, logistics, and governance. The project integrates advanced Mobility Data Space – as a frontal-data-storage, AI-analytics, Peri-Urban Mobility Hubs, Green-Safe Routing, Digital Twins, Circular Economy Model through Bio-Packaging Logistics Unit, and Smart Governance Framework – including a Citizen-Voice App, Knowledge Hub and Policy Compliance Engine – to optimize urban-peri-urban accessibility, connectivity, inclusivity, multimodal mobility, green logistics, and smart-adaptive public opinion management for co-planning and inclusive co-designing. Through its scalable solutions, BIO-INTEL-MOB enables peri-urban areas across Europe to become smarter, greener, safer, inclusive, accessible, and resilient – so – more sustainable!

Funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe programme (HORIZON-MISS-2024-CIT-01-04), BIO-INTEL-MOB brings together 28 leading partners and 3 associated partners spanning over universities, research institutes, industry, transport authorities, international organisations, municipal governments and ministries. The project is coordinated by Sapienza University of Rome and will run for the next three years.
