In its Annual Report 2024, ECTRI member BASt, the Federal Highway and Transport Research Institute, presents a selection of research activities of the year 2024.
In the past year, BASt has focused significant efforts on two domains that are at the cornerstone of tomorrow’s road transport:
- Future-oriented traffic planning with ecological, safety, and urban-development-friendly components
- Intelligent and connected mobility brought about autonomous driving
With this work, BASt has successfully contributed to creating the baseline for one Federal Government Act and one Federal Government strategy making German road transport more future-ready!
