ECTRI welcomes the appointment of Mattias Viklund as Director-General of ECTRI Member VTI. Appointed by the Swedish Minister for Infrastructure and Housing, he will succeed from July 1, Tomas Svensson , after nine years in office.
Mattias Viklund, formerly Director General of Trafikanalys, brings along a wide experience in transport analysis. From 2013 to 2019, he occupied the positions of head of department and deputy director-general at VTI.
ECTRI warmly thanks Tomas Svensson for his accomplishments in leading VTI, a founding member of ECTRI, and for his unwavering support to ECTRI.
ECTRI looks forward to continued collaboration with VTI in advancing sustainable and multimodal mobility in Europe.
