Newcastle, UK - July 15-17,2015 ECTRI Member UNEW organised a rail-focused international conference in Newcastle on July 15-17, 2015. It offered opportunities for Scholars, Bachelor, Master, PhD Students, Early Career Researchers and Professionals involved in rail-related research projects and courses and was published in ETRR as a topical collection.

Torino, Italy - September 14-15, 2015 SIDT (Società Italiana dei Docenti di Trasporti) organized the scientific seminar Transport Systems - Methods and Technologies, that was hosted by ECTRI member Politecnico di Torino (POLITO). The papers presented at the congress dealt with issues concerning innovative transport systems, services and solutions, particularly related to a gradual reduction of the
