Title: Strategic Conversations with Public Transport Operators: framing collaboration through long-term future scenarios by Alberto Rojas-Rivero, Transport Research Centre of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain

Abstract: This research focuses on collaborative planning and future studies applied to transport decision-making and policy. In his recent research work, he has addressed topics such as the role of speculation around disruptive events in supporting the design of transformative land-use and transport strategies; the development of collaboration-oriented, long-term future narratives of transport systems that capture experts’ worldviews; and the potential of such divergent scenarios to reframe the collaborative strategies that shape those futures.
