On November 11th, ECTRI Secretary General, Caroline Alméras welcomed Prof. Meike Jipp, DLR Divisional Board Member for Energy and Transport and her team, together with DLR EU office representatives, Michael Kreuz and Kay Gade.
The meeting offered an opportunity to exchange on FP10 and the related perspectives and challenges for transport and energy research. It was also the occasion to get some insights on DLR Strategy and key orientations with regard to European collaboration and partnerships, to share views on the ECTRI Strategy mid-term review and present the new ECTRI offices.
Founding Member of ECTRI, DLR is strongly engaged in the Association’s activities and developments since its inception. Currently DLR is leading key work through active participation in the ECTRI Board, Thematic Groups (TG) and Task Forces (TF), thanks to the involvement of Magnus Lamp, Board member and Treasurer since 2021, and chair of the ETRR journal Advisory Board, Saskia Seidel (TG Freight leader), Julia Jarass (TG Mobility rapporteur) Mirko Goletz (TG Economics & policy rapporteur) and Kay Gade (TF European Policy rapporteur).
ECTRI was honored to host the DLR delegation and remains committed to fostering strong collaboration and engaging in constructive, forward-looking dialogue with its Members to drive innovation and advance sustainable mobility.
