ECTRI is glad to announce its appointment among the 50 selected organisations to the European Commission Expert Group on European Union Research and Innovation for the Automotive Sector (EURIAS). ECTRI President Ingrid Skogsmo will be representing ECTRI and engage in shaping the next wave of policy and research in the automotive sector.
As part of the EURIAS expert group, experts will meet twice a year and contribute to:
✔️ Defining R&I priorities for the European automotive sector’s value chain
✔️ Identifying R&I topics enhancing the competitiveness of the European Automotive sector
✔️ Preparing the next Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, in line with the Multiannual Financial Framework 2028-2034
Why ECTRI voice matters in EURIAS?
ECTRI aims to contribute independent, evidence-based knowledge and advice, and bring expertise through a multi- and interdisciplinary, systemic approach, considering interdependencies and interactions in the transport system and its integration with society and people.
Activities of the expert group will kick off on March 27 in Brussels.
