The ITS Congress and Exhibition is the world’s largest event in intelligent transport systems and services. Through the main theme “Towards Intelligent Mobility – Better Use of Space”, the Bordeaux Congress focused not only on how achieving intelligent mobility will change our lives but also on the benefits space can bring to ITS applications. The Bordeaux Congress focused on deployment issues and more specifically connected and highly automated vehicles. Just about every sector has moved from “supplier push” to “user pull” for systems design in most cases. The conference was supported by ECTRI Member IFSTTAR.
