The scope of the Task Force “International Partnerships” is to foster the cooperation of ECTRI with major International organisations, such as US- Transportation Research Board (TRB) and the International Transport Forum (ITF) from Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) by developing a number of collaborative activities with those partners.
The Task Force aims to:
- Foster International collaboration in transport and mobility research activities.
- Facilitate greater synergies for information exchange and cooperation in the field.
- Strengthen the position and recognition of Partners’ existence and work in different regions of the world.
- Create opportunities for ECTRI Members in International collaborative activities.
- Contribute to ECTRI projects that relate to international collaboration.
The mandate of the Task Force runs until May 2027.
