Decarbonising Transport
The ITF’s Decarbonising Transport project is a global, data-driven, multi-stakeholder initiative to support the transition to carbon-free transport. Launched by ITF at the 2016 Summit, it aims to build capacity to help close the gaps between climate commitments and the CO2 reductions that mitigation actions will deliver. This session acknowledged the achievements to date and the involvement of each of the stakeholder groups. It also showcased the impact assessment of countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement on emissions from transport using the ITF Decarbonising Transport modeling framework. ECTRI is official partner of the project.
