ECTRI Member Politecnico di Torino is conducting an academic research study investigating how highway and transport infrastructure organisations define, assess, prioritise and manage their assets.
The survey explores how organisations make maintenance and investment decisions, including the role of asset condition, safety, risk, lifecycle costs, performance, levels of service, organisational factors and stakeholder requirements.
The study aims to identify common practices and differences across organisations and countries, and to assess opportunities for greater consistency and improved decision-making in transport asset management.
The survey is intended for professionals with experience in managing transport infrastructure assets.
