ECTRI Members contributions to the ETRR Journal

ECTRI Members contribute to advancing excellence in transport research, including through their publications in the European Transport Research Review (ETRR).

In the first half of 2026, we are pleased to see that ECTRI Members have published 26 articles, representing over 30% of the 82 articles published so far this year.

The publications cover a broad range of transport research topics. More than half focused on road research, with around 20% addressing road safety and CCAM. Crossmodal Passenger and Crossmodal Logistics research each accounted for 15% of ECTRI Members’ publications, while other contributions addressed rail, waterborne and airborne transport.

ECTRI Members’ contribution to ETRR has continuously progressed in the past years, reaching 26% of yearly publications in 2022, 27% in 2023, 42% in 2024 and 32% in 2025.

ECTRI is proud to see its Members contributing to the development and visibility of high-quality European transport research through ETRR.
