TIMON project releases 1st Newsletter

TIMON (“Enhanced real time services for an optimised multimodal mobility relying on cooperative networks and open data”) consortium announces the release of its first Newsletter that aims to inform the public about recent progress made in the project.

This time particular emphasis is put on the TIMON consortium work to collect user needs and define system requirements, which will serve as the basis of further work in the project, as well as the literature review surrounding traffic prediction and route planning, and the work being done in developing hybrid communications for the TIMON applications.

The TIMON Newsletter also highlights the scientific results achieved by the project, the recent news in the ITS sector on a European level, and the collaborative actions taken between TIMON and other current EU-funded projects with a focus on ITS.

Moreover, the Newsletter extends an invitation to interested stakeholders to become part of the TIMON End Users’ Board, which will meet to discuss project progress and achievements and help validate the project results against real world needs.

ECTRI Members DEUSTO (lead) and Fraunhofer are partners in this consortium
