DESCRIPTION:Presentation of the Webinar: \nTitle: Waterborne public transport: A feasibility study on agent-based simulation and CBA readiness\, by Henrik Sjöstrand\, Senior Analyst at the Department of Transport Economics at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI)\, Stockholm\, Sweden. \nAbstract: The feasibility study further develops and applies the WUM (Waterborne Urban Mobility) agent-based model in MATSim to analyze two novel electric ferry concepts in Stockholm\, where Candela’s boats use hydrofoiling technology. The results show increased peak-hour demand but also capacity challenges.
