ECTRI Autumn 2022 Assembly of Members held successfully in Lisbon

On November 16, ECTRI held its 2022 Autumn Assembly in conjunction with the TRA 2022 Conference in Lisbon.

After a long period of online meetings, Members were glad to meet in-person again at TRA, being able to exchange with many colleagues and partners and to enjoy the Conference Programme.  

Besides the election of the Board -such as announced in a previous post-, a number of important topics were discussed during the meeting.

The President, Evangelos Bekiaris presented the Board’s achievements along the set priorities drawn in the Implementation Plan for 2021-2022. 

Prof. Karst Geurs, ETRR Editor in Chief, reported on the ETRR Journal’s developments and progresses and highlighted further recommendations for the future.

The Assembly approved and welcomed its 29th Member: the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences University of Zagreb as new ECTRI Member as from 1st of January 2023, representing Croatia.

The Treasurer, Magnus Lamp, draw ahead the matters related to the financial situation of the association and the ETRR journal. The President adjourned the meeting thanking the outgoing Board and the Secretariat team for the great collaboration, wishing the new elected Board the best of success and inviting the Members to join for a festive dinner in the evening.

The Next ECTRI Assembly will be held in April 2023 in Lyon, France hosted by the University Gustave Eiffel.
