WE-TRANSFORM project aims at creating a policy agenda to prepare for the transition of the transport sector related to digitalisation and automation of services, and specifically the related workforce transformation. The first phase of the project has focused on reviewing state-of-the-art literature and analysing initial stakeholders’ input regarding barriers created by digitalisation/automation. In particular, negative and positive impacts on the workforce were investigated in relation to the skills and the needs to facilitate the transition.
The 3rd stakeholder workshop marks the start of the second phase. This phase focuses on the analysis of the observed and collected impacts of automation on the workforce. It targets interested stakeholders across all transport modes and countries, from workforce organisations, trade unions to transport and technology industry and public authorities.
This workshop will be held in a hybrid format, in Riga at the ECTRI Member Transport and Telecommunication Institute (TSI) premises and online on June 15, 2022 (9:00-18:00 CEST+1).
