As part of the cooperation with ITF, ECTRI is invited to participate in the Annual consultation with international organisations to provide input to the Annual Summit preparation.
The 2021 ITF Annual Summit, planned to take place from 26 to 28 May 2021, will address the “Transport Innovation for Sustainable Development: Reshaping Mobility in the Wake of Covid-19”.
Therefore this years’ consultation, which will be held online on February 10 and 11, will have a focus on how innovation in transport can be embraced beyond the Covid-19 crisis to deliver on the long-term objectives in the sector.
ECTRI will be well represented and glad to contribute to the following themes and discussions:
Access for all travelers, Evangelos Bekiaris, ECTRI President
Inclusive transport workforce , Matina Loukea, Co-leader ECTRI Task Force on Education and Training
Environmental sustainability, Caroline Alméras, ECTRI Secretary General

This consultation will also be the occasion to get further inputs for the preparation of the ITF Pre-Summit Research Day 2021 that ECTRI is co-organizing together with TRB and WCTRs. The call for abstracts shall soon be launched. Stay tuned!
