ECTRI welcomes the recently published European strategy for sustainable and smart mobility.
In this strategy, the European Commission defines numerous actions and milestones towards sustainable and smart mobility. The multi-facetted approach outlined is essential, but as underlined in previous ECTRI position paper, it needs to be built on a sound basis of knowledge and forward-looking research.
ECTRI sees a strong need to mobilize the European research community in order to ensure up to date measures and to trigger innovation for a smart and sustainable mobility that meets the goals of citizens and society. We’re ready to contribute!
