Evening: Participants were free to explore down town The Hague:
> Panorama Mesdag: Exhibition gives a historic overview of the old fishing village of Scheveningen around 1890.
> Royal Picture Gallery Mauritshuis: Masterpiecesof the 17th century Dutch painting (Rembrandt, Vermeer, Steen).
> Peace Palace: Houses the InternationalCourt of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration. Its furnishings were donated by countries all over the world.
> Parliament Building and Knights' Hall: The Binnenhof has been the centre of political life in the Netherlands.
> Madurodam: A most unusual attraction where scale models of best known Dutch buildings and other traditional features are assembled in an open air miniature town. Open: all year 9-19 hours.
> Omniversum: Europe's first Space theatre and digital planetarium.
> The Hague Municipal Museum: Three permanent exhibitions: collection of modern art, industrial art and music section.
> State museum prison gate: Objects, paintings and prints illustrating dispensation of justice in earlier days.
