		ECTRI has published strategic papers defining its vision and missions in more details. The strategic paper issued in September 2008 keeps the continuity of ECTRI's core business and reflects the developments in Europe. It updates and clarifies the first one, which was released at ECTRI's creation in 2003. 		ECTRI has also issued the following documents in the frame of its activities: ECTRI released its position on the EC White Paper “Roadmap to a Single European Transport Area– Towards a competitive and resource efficient transport system” - July 2011 (220 Ko) In relation to the emerging discussion on the future of the transport lending policy, ECTRI has released its contribution to the European Investment Bank public consultation “Towards a Refined Policy for EIB Lending to the Transport Sector”. This ECTRI contribution has been possible thanks to the work and inputs provided by the ECTRI TWG Economics and Policy- June 2011 (234 Ko) ECTRI provided its comments to the ERTRAC Strategic Research Agenda. This paper compiles inputs made by some ECTRI TWGs - August 2010 (31 Ko) 'Creating a European Transport Research Alliance (ETRA), towards MERITE, Main European Research Initiative in surface Tran sport': preliminary thoughts towards FP8, CIP2 and the joint programming, it also sets the scene vision and scenario, lists gaps and recommendations for the surface transport ERA and for the thematic issues at macro level. This is the first report of the FP8 Task Force composed of the Lyon Declaration signatories. The Brno Declaration: a common position on Mobility research. Document signed by ECTRI, EURNEX, FEHRL, FERSI, HUMANIST in May 2009, in Brno, Czech Republic. In the frame of ECTRI Memorandum of Understanding with the US Transportation Research Board, the Working Group 10 released its final report "EU/US Transport Research Collaboration: Challenges and opportunities" - February 2009 (885,98 Ko).
