Focus on mobility behavior of people and passenger transport demand.
Scope of topics divided into two areas:
- better understanding of mobility behavior: main interest is to understand underlying factors and determinants affecting mobility behavior of people
- influencing mobility behavior: basic question is how sustainable mobility behavior can be promoted

Strategic goals:
- identification of research gaps in above mentioned fields
- formulation of strategic research topics on European level
- developing a strategic research agenda
- promoting FP7 consortia in this field

The TWG Mobility also prepared inputs for the FP7 update. These inputs have been gathered in a report entitled "White spots in the European Transport research traced by ECTRI's Thematic Working Groups". This report was released to the EC in June 2009.
