Objectives:
- development of TWG matrix of experience and identification of knowledge gaps (topics subject to a future ranking process)
- development of document/resource database (server-based)
Research focus:
- emission measurements, technology assessment, soft measures, policy assessment, tool development, behaviour
Current activities:
- Input to TRB Climate Change event, see presentation "Key issues for European transport research institutes"
- Identifying areas that have been subject to research
- Identifying knowledge gaps to allow us to propose a specific research agenda
- Preparation of FP7 proposals
The TWG Energy and Climate Change also prepared inputs for the FP7 update. These inputs have been gathered in a report entitled "White spots in the European Transport research traced by ECTRI's Thematic Working Groups". This report was released to the EC in June 2009.
